Unlike other providers, every nursing staff member is fully trained in ophthalmic nursing care and works every day in the specialty of ophthalmology. This includes our ward and theatre nurses.

 

We have in-house optometry and orthoptic departments to provide you with a complete ophthalmic opinion, as well as access to broader NHS services for diagnostics as necessary.

The hospital is a purpose-built facility for ophthalmic care.

Upon your arrival to the dedicated private unit, you will be greeted into our reception which has a quiet area to enjoy refreshments. We have a series of dedicated private consulting rooms which combine comfort and privacy with state of the art medical equipment and approachable, experienced consultants.

 

Our inpatient rooms are fully equipped to keep you entertained and comfortable during your stay. Each room is has its own en suite, television and telephone and our friendly staff are on hand to offer catering.

The private unit is ideally located across the corridor from the main ophthalmic theatres. These are furnished with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure your surgery is of the highest calibre, giving you optimum results.
